Some interesting things about me... I graduated from Northeastern University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. I am originally from New York City and currently residing on Long Island.
My current interests include photography (see the photos link), bicycling, exploring new programming languages and volunteering at Oceanside Rescue Company #1 as a Fire-Medic.

A heads-first dive in to Java web development. On the Server side (Tomcat) this project employs an MVC architectural pattern thourgh the use of JSPs, Servlets and Beans. JavaScript with AJAX is used to create dynamic, real-time feel on the client side. This is by no means a practical application... rather an education prototype. Javadoc, source and a live demo are available.

This is a fun one-off script that I wrote at the same time as I wrote this website. The link is to a short HowTo on writting custom autoresponders for Postfix using Perl. These are cooler than .vacation files because you can send attachements and forge headers. You could even write custom spam filters in this way.

Other Projects
I have several other interesting projects cooking that are either not web friendly or have yet to be made presentable. These include a Linux kernel module to drive a pair of serially-attached robotic arms, an experiment processing RSS feeds with language modelling algorithms and a generic daemon control script in Perl (my next CPAN module).
